Manual steel strapping tools for flat packaging goods
Manual steel strapping tools for flat packaging goods can be classified in combination tools (combined tensioner and sealer) and separate use of tensioner and sealer. As seals are not required with flat packaging goods, it is recommended to use a combination tool as this is much easier to handle than two separate tools. For 25 and 32 mm steel straps, combination tools are not available - hence, tensionert and sealer have to be used separately in that case.

Combined tensioner and sealer for steel strapping for flat packaging goods
Among sealless steel strapping tools for flat packaging goods, MUL-16 (also known as MK-4) is the tool with the best price/quality ratio. Due to the fact that the tool is operated without seals, it is suitable for all packaging goods where the surface is at least ~ 16 cm - so called "flat packaging goods". MUL-16 sealless steel strapping tool is characterized by high ease of use and by its robustness due to its massive construction (no use of plastic!). MUL-16 is available in two versions: for 13/16 mm and for 16/19 mm strap width.
